The Friday Super Market App

This section covers the Friday Super Market app for Android and iPhone. The app uses the same account and the same order records as this website, and everything above applies to it too.

What the app sends us

• Your name, email address, phone number and delivery addresses, when you create an account or place an order.
• Your orders, your cart, your Points and your product reviews, including any photos you attach to a review.
• If you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and email address that Google or Apple give us. Apple lets you hide your email address. We then receive an address that forwards to yours.
• A notification token from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, so we can send you order updates and announcements. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
• Crash reports. When the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a report to Sentry (sentry.io), which we use to find and fix the problem. A report holds your device model, its operating system version, the app version, the screens you opened before the error, your customer number if you are signed in, and the city your internet connection came from. It holds no name, email address, phone number or delivery address.

Services the app uses

Google Firebase sends notifications. Google and Apple handle their own sign-in. Google Cloud checks review text and photos for offensive content before we publish them. Sentry stores crash reports. Each of these services handles the data under its own privacy policy.

The app shows no ads, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Deleting your account

In the app, open the Account tab, then Profile, and tap Delete my account. On this website, sign in, open your profile, and use Delete my account at the bottom of the page. If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account.

Deleting your account removes your name, email address, phone number, saved addresses, cart and wishlist, and nobody can sign in to it again. Your unspent Points are cancelled. We keep the orders you already placed, including the delivery name, address and phone number on each one, because they are our sales and delivery records. If you signed in with Apple, we also tell Apple to remove the link between your Apple ID and this app.
